The Biomedical Science Quiz Night returns! Join us once again in the Curtin Tav for another great night of trivia blending the fun sides of science and general knowledge into one awesome night. Of course, there's prizes and bragging rights to be won too. Find a team of 6, or just turn up and we'll fit you into one! The event is completely free, but don't worry, we'll still be bringing everything we've got with over $100 of prizes and 100 exciting questions for you to tackle! 🗓️ 28th August ⏰ Doors open 5:45pm, we'll start at 6:30pm! 📍 Curtin Tav (18+, so bring ID) 🎟️ Totally free!  We'd love to host you for a night of puzzling questions and exhilarating victory, hope to see you there!

Our most anticipated event of the year is back! On Monday, October 5th, the Biomedical Science Club will host our annual Careers and Networking Night, and we'll be bringing everything!  This is the perfect opportunity to meet with professionals in the fields of biomedical science and laboratory medicine to pick their brains about what they do, how they do it, and why! The event is fully catered with dinner and non-alcoholic drinks provided for all attendees, and in a cocktail dinner style. Dress to impress! The dress code is smart casual – think jeans, button up shirts, belts, tailored pants, and maybe pull out those boots you've been meaning to try out. We'll start off with a short introduction from each professional about their work and experience, then have dinner and time to freely mingle with whoever you like. Make sure to bring a hungry body and a hungry mind for this event! Tickets are $15 for members, or $22.50 for non-members. Due to catering and budget limitations we unfortunately have to limit the number of tickets, so get in while you can. 

Exams are right around the corner, are you ready? Well, regardless of that, we think free snacks and pizza probably helps with getting ready... The Curtin University Science Alliance brings you our joint study session on Monday, 26th of October (the Monday of study week). We'll be providing free snacks to keep your body fuelled, something to drink for those thirsty minds, and free pizza for dinner for our most dedicated on the study grind, all free by the way :) Yes, it runs for 14 hours. Yes, we will be there from start to finish. Yes, we are serious about this. Will you be there? It's happening in 434A and B in the T.L. Robertson Library (to be confirmed), from 8am-10pm.
